2009 Tax Season

Summer Tax Bills will be mailed

July 1, 2009

Due by September 14, 2009

Any 2009 summer tax payment not received or postmarked by the September 14, 2009 due date will be assessed 1% interest.  An additional 1% interest will accrue on the first of each month thereafter until February 16, 2010 at which time a 3% penalty will be assessed.

Schoolcraft Village Taxes will be mailed July 1, 2009

Due By September 14, 2009

Any 2009 Village tax payment not received or postmarked by the September 14, 2009 due date will be assessed 1% interest.  An additional 1% interest will accrue on the first of each month thereafter until February 16, 2010 at which time a 3% penalty will be assessed.

Winter Tax Bills will be mailed

December 1, 2009

Due by February 16, 2010

(Please note the office will be closed on Monday, February 15, 2010 in observance of President's day.)

Any 2009 winter tax payment not received or postmarked by the February 16, 2010 due date will be assessed a 3% penalty charge.

Any 2009 taxes not paid in full to Schoolcraft Township by March 2, 2010 will be turned over to Kalamazoo County Treasurer for collection of delinquent taxes, as required by the laws of the State of Michigan.
